BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Founder and President. Driven by my lived experience as De’Ja’s mom and obedience to God, I founded this organization to provide a platform for voices that need to be heard and tangible help for those who simply need it. I bring a mother’s passion, a servant’s obedience to the call on my life, and a founder’s resolve to the Board, guiding the Foundation’s growth and impact. This is my heart’s work.
CASSANDRA BORDEAUX-LAWRENCE
Dr. Carlos Lawrence serves as the Vice President and Co-Treasurer of Voices for De’Ja Foundation. Bringing the precision and analytical skills of his Doctorate in Education to the board, Carlos oversees the foundation’s administrative and financial health. His work is deeply personal; as De’Ja’s father, he is dedicated to ensuring the foundation is built on a sustainable, impactful basis to honor her legacy.
CARLOS LAWRENCE, Ed.D.

Rozell serves as the Secretary for the Voices for De’Ja Foundation. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Rozell currently serves as Lead Medical Support Assistant at the VA in Norfolk, Virginia. She brings the same discipline, organizational expertise, and spirit of service to the foundation that she has dedicated to her professional career and her country. Beyond her administrative leadership, Rozell’s heart is at the center of the mission: she is De’Ja’s aunt and Godmother, and she is honored to help lead this organization in support of her goddaughter and others.
